   NEW YEARS EVE OUTFITS

Let's start off with a big HAPPY NEW YEAR! Ebony and I are so excited to get our blog going this year. Ok now onto outfits...No surprise I went with my typical skirt and top combo. This year was my first new years being 18, so I was excited to get to go to an overage event. I wanted to go for my typical combo but amped up for new years eve. I knew red is meant to bring luck for the new year so I thought I would do a red bandage skirt. Like I have mentioned in previous posts I love these bandage skirts, such great quality and so flattering. I went for the ivory top because I would usually do black, and this ivory colour will suit anyone with a tan. This outfit did not need any added accessories I wanted to keep it simple so I just added nude heels. I loved the way the outfit turned out and thought it was a perfect way to start off 2014. All the details down below....

Skirt: Bandage Skirt - Gumtree

For the NYE event I wanted to do something dressy but different than what I usually go for. I never ever wear pinks, I'm just not drawn to that colour when it comes to clothing, but this dress caught my eye and it was 50% off making it only $55 which in my books is a total bargain. I love that it is a bandage dress which is very flattering on most body types but the cut outs made it a bit different and the purple detailing pulls to look together. The dress also had an open back which I am a total sucker for. This dress would look great on a tan and the colours and cut just needs a simple pair of nude heels to tie it all together. I think the dress was very new years appropriate and made me feel very comfortable and confident to bring on 2014.
